The Beautiful Cesme Peninsula

The 14th century Genoese fortress in the centre is a magnificent sight and the town is a nice place to wander around and stop at one of the many excellent fish restaurants. Just south of the centre, the beach at Altinkum is one of the best in the area. For anyone enjoying Izmir Turkey holidays around the Cesme Peninsula the Altinkum beach is a great place to catch some rays.
